Costco Adventures

We always have an adventure when we go to Costco and this day was no different!!!!!

Bus Ride

Corey likes riding the bus and it is so fun watching him and Corey leave in the morning. The kids get a big kick out of asking Corey questions about his day and all the funny things he says about school. Corey sings songs from school all day long and it has been fun to see him adjust to going to school..he has done great!!

Corey;s birthday was a little calm because Clint had to make a run to Washington and didnt get home till midnight, the girls of course had various activites going on...so Craig Corey and I celebrated..Corey didnt seem to mind at all..he was just excited about all of it...I guess being the youngest.....stuff happens..it was a fun day!!!

Happy Birthday Corey

Next we had Corey's Birthday. It is hard to believe that he is 4. It seems like just yesterday we spent he holidays in the hospital and cherishing every moment we had with him. Now he is a wild 4 year old and growing up way too fast. We are so lucky to have Corey be a part of our family and he definitely adds a lot of spice!!! We never are without something to do(or clean up) He is our wild card and we love him sooo much!!!

Corey decided to do some finger painting. His hands were a mess so I put him up to the sink to wash his hands. When I turned around to see him this is how I found him:).....never a dull moment around here!!!!!Wouldn't have it any other way!!

Mary and I went to the Womens Celebration show to pick up our race shirts. the race is Saturday and we are all gearing up for it. While we were picking up the shirts Corey was lucky enough to get this pink umbrella from the RC willey booth. Kara got one too and I wish I would have taken a picture of them together. They had a great time there....yes for pink...Corey says it can be for boys..:)

Sweet little guy.....ya right!!

Sure he looks all sweet when he is asleep but let me tell you.....I took Craig to football practice on Friday and I was just gonna drop him off..well I got visiting and ended up being 45 min. Corey decided he wanted to stay home with Amber and Amber thought that was fine. She was feeling well though and she fell asleep..remember I was only supposed to be 10-15 min. When I got home I found everything just fine...Corey was playing in his room...so I proceeded to clean the kitchen and get some things done...soon I hear Corey in my room...I went in to investigate and there he was on Clint side of the bed with a yardstick in hand getting ready to stir into his big pile of things he dumped out. He said he was making cupcakes!! He dumped...chocolate powder, baking powder, powdered sugar, sprinkles, red hot, dried onions, parsley, vitamins, and prob a few other things to make his cupcakes (with a dang yardstick) luckily I came in at this point or I may have walked into a poof all over the room. I couldn't find any of the containers and then I finally found them in the sheets of my bed...actually I was thankful he did this in the carpet and not in my bedsheets. Crazy boy!! He does get into mischief if I don't keep him busy...maybe it is time we do some more canning!!!

Playing Hard......Sleeping Hard

We have really been working and playing hard these last few weeks and Corey has not missed a beat....He is beside me every step of the way. A few days ago he decided to stay home with Heather while I ran and picked a few more flowers. He wanted to take a bath. Heather called me not long after I left and said he had fallen asleep in the bathtub!!! So that is a serious picture. He is such a good boy and great helper. He has been the most patient with me through all of the this. We are winding down here this week and will just be at a steady pace after this week is over...I am sure he will be glad. He is such trooper!!!!

After church sunday he decided that he was gonna ride like the big boys.....he does look pretty cute and all grown up!!!

Corey Loves Robert

Robert stopped by the other day to get some movies. Corey and I were the only ones home. Corey immediately got Robert to play with him as he always does. Robert is such a great sport!! Corey idolizes Robert!!! Thanks Robert for being so great to Corey and always doing whatever he wants you to. :) We love you bunches!!

Chasing Water

Corey and I have the wonderful job of chasing water this first week of water coming into the ditches. Corey is thrilled to say the least and knows exactly what he is doing. As we are riding along he says, "This is fun Mom!!" Not my feelings exactly but I do need to have an attitude adjustment!!! He is helping me out and I am thankful for that. I am lucky that I can be outside and seeing how beautiful it is!! We have to follow the ditch all the way around our land to check for weeds and leaves clogging and making floods. It really hasn't been too bad for my part. Yesterday was the first day and Clint did that, which tends to be the worst so I really am not complaining.:) I love my life!!!!!!

As you can see he really knows what he is doing...he is my big helper...what a great job he does....of course we have to stop and through rocks in the big canal..what fun!!!

Welcome home!!!

Amber went to the Oregon Coast during spring break so we all missed her very much...every once in awhile Corey would ask where she was cause he hadn't seen her for so long. She came home Wednesday evening and we were all excited to see her!!!
