Update on Clint

Clint is still working in North Dakota. He was able to come home for all of the Flower harvest which was such a relief to me!! We had a great time doing as much as we could while he was home. It was so nice to have him around all the time...it was like a vacation for us...he took Craig to school every day which was special for Craig. I heard hinm tell Corey the other day that they wouldn't have to ride the bus when Dad came home. Clint is so good to do things with the kids as much as he can. He missed us terribly I know and we miss him. He started a new job a couple weeks ago which he will be working 4 weeks on 2 weeks off. That will be great to have him home for two weeks every once in a while. He is doing good and tries to stay as busy as they will allow.

Clints new job....

So this is what Clint has been up to..he is in North Dakota driving trucks that move the oil riggers around to different sites. He is enjoying it I think although it is WAY cold but he is getting used to it...He said it was 32 degrees the other day and it felt so nice...ugh!!! It has been as low and =20. I think really he would like to come home and things are still up in the air about when he will...we miss him but it is probably harder for him cause we are all together and still going about life...he will be home for a short visit Feb 16 for a chemical meeting...we are all excited...here is a few pics of what he up to...

WARNING!!!..Not for the faint of heart!!!!!

Ok...this post has not been easy for me to do cause I can hardly look at the pictures so you have had fair warning. Saturday Clint decided to cut down a limb from one of Grandmas tree to get her some firewood and some smaller branches for a bonfire for the kids. Well....the huge branch he was cutting came towards him when he thought it would go the other way. He threw the chainsaw and tried to get out of the way but the tree hit him on the way down. He was on a 10 foot ladder by the way so not too easy to get out of the way. It hit him straight in the face and then that far of a fall was not too easy on him either. Luckily Laena, our niece, Thersas daughter, who is also an ER nurse, had just gotten there 10 min earlier. Amber Heather and I were at a baptism. We got a call from Laena saying she was on her way to the ER with Clint. We were on our way home so we just followed them there. Laena was great to have around and she stayed and helped us all the way through. Clint was very grateful to her and was thankful she was a nurse. She is a very good nurse and we are proud of her. Ok...so her goes the pictures....

Clint got 30 stichtes all together...25 on the outside and 5 on the inside. It took an hour to stitch up but the doctor did a great job...he will still have a scar but hopefully not too bad..he is not excited to have a scar...the kids think its cool...

Happy Birthday Dad!!!!

So October 10th was Clints Birthday and I am way to far behind. We had a great day working in the fields but we did get everything planted so that was a nice gift for him...HAHA!! That night we had cake and opened presents. It was a fun time. We are lucky to have such a great dad that enjoys spending lots of time with his family. He loves to hang out with the kids and ride motorcycles with them and pretty much whatever they want to do. We appreciate ou Clint for taking care of our family and providing he things we need. You are a wonderful father!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Birthday present!!!

Later that night Dad came home with Craigs birthday present!!! He already got tons of things from his friends...including the amazing chocolate chip M&M cookies from Andrea McRae that were still warm...what more could you ask for....all the kids thought he was the luckiest boy ever....and he definitely was!!! He could not have been happier with his present from Dad though. We all went riding that night and I think Clint could not have been happier either!!

Riding Hard!!!!

Yesterday we had a blast riding 4-wheelers, Gators and motorcyles. Richards boy were over for the weekend so that made more fun with all the more riders. Jeremy Bell, our best neighbor, was a great 4-wheeler driver. We rode around for probably 3-4 hrs. Corey was having the time of his life and so was Craig. Clint....well this is what he was born to do :)

After the ride we started a fire and had hotdogs and marshmellow and had a great time. The boys were covered in dirt and so ready for baths....well mom was ready for them to be clean...I don't think they really cared. It was such a fun day. We are lucky to have such a great place to ride and be carefree...we love this place we have!!!!
